Terms & Conditions

1- Eligibility & Acceptance

By registering for and submitting a pitch, participants confirm they are pre‑seed or seed‑stage founders based in India and agree to these Terms & Conditions and Rules of Engagement.

2- No Guarantee of Funding

Pitchto.vc does not promise that participation will result in any investor calls or funding Forwarding to investors is solely at Pitchto.vc’s discretion and does not constitute an endorsement or commitment to invest by any investor or Pitchto.vc or any affiliated party.

3- Selection & Scoring

All pitches are evaluated via an AI-driven scorecard based on six metrics: Opener, Engagement, Closing, Stats, Objections, and Summary. These scores are proprietary and confidential between Pitchto.vc and the founder. Shortlisted submissions must meet a minimum threshold score and are subject to manual review by the Pitchto.vc team before being considered for forwarding.

4- Impartial Evaluation

Pitch assessments are conducted without bias. Any Pitchto.vc or investor team member with a conflict of interest must recuse themselves from evaluating the affected submission.

5- Data & Privacy

Personal data and pitch materials are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (insert link if available online). By registering, participants consent to such processing. Pitchto.vc complies with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA, and ensures that data is securely stored and accessed only for evaluation and communication purposes.

6- Intellectual Property

Founders retain all intellectual property rights to their submissions. By entering the Program, you grant Pitchto.vc and its affiliated Venture Capital (VC) partners and investors a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free license to review and evaluate your materials solely for Program purposes.

7- Communication Channels

Official emails will originate only from hey@pitchto.vc. Participants are responsible for ensuring emails from the pitchto.vc domain are not marked as spam or filtered.

8- Disqualification

Providing false or misleading information or violating these Terms may result in immediate disqualification without prior notice or appeal. Disqualification decisions are made at Pitchto.vc’s sole discretion.

 9- Indemnification

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pitchto.vc, its affiliates, directors, employees, and advisors against any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

9.3 Any breach of these Terms.

 10- Amendment Rights

Pitchto.vc may update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and published on our website. Continued participation after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 11- No Public Use of Pitchto.vc Branding or Affiliation

Participation in the Program does not entitle you to use Pitchto.vc’s name, logo, or branding in marketing materials, investor decks, social media, or other public communications without prior written consent. You may not imply any endorsement, association, or partnership with Pitchto.vc unless explicitly authorized.

 12- Media Use & Recordings

If the Program involves any live pitch events or virtual presentations, Pitchto.vc may record or photograph the sessions. By participating, you consent to the use of your image, voice, and submitted content for promotional or internal purposes, unless you opt out in writing in advance.

 13- No Obligation to Provide Feedback

Pitchto.vc is under no obligation to share scores, evaluation results, or feedback. All decisions regarding shortlisting, forwarding, or disqualification are final and made at Pitchto.vc’s discretion.

 14- Program Timeline

Submissions received after the official deadline (if any) may not be reviewed. Pitchto.vc reserves the right to alter timelines or cancel the Program without liability or prior notice.

 15- Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario (TBC) and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Toronto, Ontario (TBC).
